San Francisco-based digital currency exchange Coinbase is now supporting Stellar Lumens, XLM, trading at its desktop, Android and iOS platforms, according to a press release published by the company. Starting this week, Coinbase customers can buy, sell, send, converts receive or store XLM. In the press release, the company acknowledged that the addition of the Stellar's cryptocurrency responds to customers requests. Also, Coinbase is in the process of more assets listing in the middle term. Besides Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, and now Stellar Lumens, the exchange is exploring the addition of Cardano, Basic Attention Token, Cash and Ox. However, Coinbase is developing a new process for additions depending on customers' jurisdiction. "In practice, this means some new assets listed on our platform may only be available to customers in select jurisdictions for a period of time," said a Medium post published previously. Back to today's announcement, XLM powers the Stellar payment network that aims to connect banks, payment systems, and individuals.Stellar wants to connect money globally.
