Exchange platform Coinbase are now allowing users to stay up to date with the latest prices of their favourite cryptocurrencies directly on their mobile with their new price alerts update. The new service will eliminate the need for users to manually check the app or log on to the website, with all cryptocurrencies value popping up on your mobile home screen. The new option will be an addition to the in-app news and asset info pages, which have already enabled users more convenience in their mobile trading. The new smart alerts about your crypto portfolio will help users know when to invest or when to sells assets off based on the values that pop up on your mobile. All that needs to be down now for users is update their Coinbase and app and when prompted, choose to enable push notifications. You then set up your watchlist, a list of cryptocurrencies you want updates on, and then just wait for the price to change. Don’t worry about your phone beeping every 5 minutes though, as the service will only be brought into action for substantial changes that are most important to traders. In the near future, assets not tradeable on Coinbase will also be added to the service to, allowing it to become a quintessential tool for trading. The aim of this new update is to allow users to make “more informed” trading decisions.
