BitMEX Research does a deep dive between two of the top Bitcoin mining products currently available on the market, the Antminer S19 and the Whatsminer M30S+. In order to conduct this comparison, BitMEX Research measures various metrics such as reported hash rate and overall efficiency. After conducting their research, BitMEX Research found that Bitmain’s Antminer S19 is more powerful, but the two miners are very similar in terms of their actual output. The research team found interesting conclusions, that the Antminer S19 has slightly higher performance, but the Whatsminer M30S+ is overall more stable. The BitMEX research team was thoroughly impressed by both pieces of mining hardware, and think that the two companies producing these products, Bitmain and Whatsminer, will be competing with each in a neck and neck manner over the next few years and the mining hardware market continues to evolve.
